Manual physical therapy is limited in terms of the number and duration of sessions, and stretching devices may be considered when physical therapy is unable to achieve treatment goals. Serial Static Splint Manual Physical Therapy Techniques include active and passive ROM exercises, manual stretching, splinting and serial casting. Rationale Various types of physical therapy are often prescribed to restore normal joint mobility, particularly after surgical intervention.
